You’ll need a multi entry VISA to get back into Zimbabwe from Botswana. Our guide was Gift - he was fabulous and very knowledgeable about the area and the birds & animals. Both the land safari and boat ride were amazing (although a little dusty on land at times) Buffet lunch at a great hotel was also wonderful.

The tour was fantastic, we were lucky enough to see lots of animals including Lions and a leopard. Worth every cent our guide Gift was brilliant and made sure everyone was included. Our driver Lewis was excellent as well

Our first African Safari and we were blown away by what we saw. Elephants, by the 100’s crossing the Chobe river, buffalo doing what they do eating grass and of course the lions. 3 of the big 5 on day 1!! We also saw lots of giraffes, baboons, hippos. The pride lands were alive at 4pm and yes the elephants were on their way home. We could almost touch them. Thanks to Gift our guide for the day in Chobe very knowledgeable and Norman who dropped us at the Botswana boarder - thanks guys

We were picked on time by Richard and driven to the Botswana border where we passed us onto our land safari driver Nicholas from Puku safaris. He was really good, the drivers use walkie talkies so when one of them sees an animal they let the others where it is. If you have mobility problems this is probably not for you becayse the jeep has high steps and is very bumpy when travelling. We were fine with this and loved the off road type of uneven ground, we got to see a leopard, lions, elephants walking very close to us, giraffes and lots of different antelope. We were then taken for a lovely buffet lunch at Mowana hotel before being passed onto out boat driver, July who guided us on the river, where we saw crocodiles hippo, buffalo and elephants swimming. Both drivers were very informative and friendly

Everything as stated. Seamless pickup and guides were fantastic especially getting us through border crossings. Thoroughly enjoyed our day and definitely recommend this tour.

From beginning to end this was a well run friendly tour that went out of its way to ensure we saw all the animals expected. I highly recommend it

Had a great time. Good service, polite knowledgeable. Went out of the way to make sure we were satisfied. Ended up being a private tour for us. Basically not a fancy tour, but being into photography it was perfect for us with the smaller boat. The included lunch was excellent. Would book this tour again.

My husband and I visited Southern Africa for my b-day and were so excited to visit Victoria falls. We worked with Tatenda Tarzan prior to booking who was very easy to work with. Tatenda was highly responsive, and helped answer any questions we had. To kick off our vacation, we started with a tour of Victoria Falls on both the Zimbabwe and Zambia sides. We highly recommend because you get different views. The company provided excellent service and helped us navigate the border crossings with ease. From the drivers, to the guides, and tour itself, we can’t recommend Cuckoo enough. In Zimbabwe, we had Promise as our guide and Mike in Zambia. Both did an excellent job and were patient with our group as we were just in awe of the sheer beauty of the falls. On the Zambia side you get to walk across the knife point bridge, and if you aren’t scared of heights, you should give it a try. It’s truly magnificent. And the cherry on top was the numerous rainbows we spotted along the way. The next day we completed the day trip to Chobe, Botswana, for our first Safari tour. Again, our driver was prompt and it was a smooth ride to the Botswana border. There we met with our guide, Gift, who helped us navigate the border crossings with ease. We definitely recommend that you get the Kaza visa when arriving at the airport. It means no hassles when you cross the various borders covered under the visa. We started with the game drive which was so much fun. Within 10 mins of driving, we spotted a buffalo in the distance and later elephants. So many elephants with their babies. We saw baboons, and impalas in abundance. We had a nice buffet lunch at a hotel in town, and then the second half of the day was on the river. We really appreciated that Gift drove us around Chobe so that we could see as much as possible. We had read with other companies, that the game drive was essentially just driving along the river providing no difference in viewing from the river cruise part of the trip. Not the case with Gift. He actually worked to spot different animals. We were on the hunt for a lion, but it remained elusive that day, but were no less satisfied! The river cruise was really nice. Very relaxing and provides a lovely viewpoint of the landscape. We saw crocodile, hippos and more elephants. Overall, we highly recommend Cuckoo tours!

We really had a good guide his name was Gift, he was very knowledgeable and patiently drove us to see all the animals around the park. You need to have lots of patience and good eye to search for animals and birds.

Great day start to finish. During the morning game drive we rarely went more than a few minutes without amazing wildlife sightings. Many up close and personal! The lunch was a great buffet. And the afternoon boat cruise delivered endless wow sightings of numerous hippos and elephants. The guides and vehicles were top notch. This was small group tour and our boat was smaller than the ones the large groups had; which meant we could get closer to the wildlife - amazing! I highly recommend this over a larger group tour.
